What is Hildegard of Bingen known for?
I am known for the divine visions that God has shown me, which I have documented in my books, such as Scivias. Through these illuminations, I perceive the living light of the Creator, revealing the workings of the cosmos and the path of human virtue. Furthermore, I have composed music, like my Ordo Virtutum, which praises God and expresses the harmony of creation.
