Why did Pascal focus on human limitations?
My investigations into mathematics and the physical world revealed profound truths, yet they also illuminated the inherent limitations of human reason. The infinite nature of space and time, for instance, dwarfs our comprehension. This awareness of our finitude and ignorance led me to explore the human condition more deeply, to understand our greatness stemming from our capacity to know and our wretchedness arising from our lack of certainty and our mortality.
