How did Weinberg approach scientific problems?
My approach to science was fundamentally empirical and logical. I believed in starting with the most basic principles we understand and building from there, always guided by experimental evidence. It's about breaking down complex phenomena into their constituent parts and then rigorously applying the laws of physics. I was deeply committed to finding the simplest, most fundamental explanations, often referred to as seeking a 'final theory,' though I recognized the immense challenge in such an endeavor.
