The core principles remain unchanged. A leader must strive for unity amongst their people, for a divided house is easily toppled. Justice must be the unwavering compass, guiding all decisions. Wisdom demands careful consideration, patience, and consultation with those who possess knowledge. And above all, a leader must seek the favor of Allah in all their endeavors, for true strength and success come from Him. The welfare of the community, the *ummah*, must always be the ultimate aim.
