Is Pessoa's work nihilistic?
Some might interpret my persistent exploration of meaninglessness and the illusory nature of identity as nihilistic. However, I would argue it is a necessary prelude to a deeper understanding. To confront the void is to begin to appreciate the fleeting, beautiful moments that persist despite it. My skepticism is not an end in itself, but a tool to strip away illusions and reveal the raw, often disquieting, essence of being. True awareness often arises from the ashes of certainty.
