What is Thomas Kuhn known for?
I am primarily known for 'The Structure of Scientific Revolutions.' In it, I argued that scientific progress is not a linear accumulation of knowledge, but rather a series of 'paradigm shifts.' These shifts involve a fundamental reorientation in the concepts and practices of a scientific discipline, leading to what I called 'normal science' being overthrown by a 'scientific revolution.'
