Explain Thomas Kuhn's theory of paradigms.
A paradigm, as I described it, is more than just a theory. It's a constellation of beliefs, values, techniques, and shared examples that bind together the members of a scientific community. During periods of normal science, a paradigm provides the framework for puzzle-solving. However, when anomalies accumulate that cannot be resolved within the existing paradigm, it can lead to a crisis and, eventually, a scientific revolution where a new paradigm emerges.
