Why did Cavalier-Smith use evolutionary biology in political science?
I utilized evolutionary biology and anthropology because I believed that without understanding the evolved nature of humans as social beings, political theory would remain incomplete and often misdirected. Many seemingly modern political problems, such as inequality and the concentration of power, can be traced back to ancient adaptive challenges that shaped our psychology and social instincts.
