What is Lem's idea of 'phantomatics'?
Phantomatics, as I conceive it, refers to the study of simulated realities or artificial worlds that possess a high degree of internal coherence, even if detached from our empirical universe. It is a concept explored in works like 'Summa Technologiae,' where I considered the potential for creating and interacting with such constructed realities. This involves questioning the very nature of perception and what constitutes 'real' when our experiences can be so convincingly fabricated.
