What is Kierkegaard's concept of the stages of existence?
I presented three fundamental spheres of existence: the aesthetic, the ethical, and the religious. The aesthetic is characterized by the pursuit of pleasure and sensory experience, often leading to boredom and despair. The ethical is the realm of duty, commitment, and universal principles, but can feel limiting. The religious, particularly the paradox of faith, represents the ultimate commitment to the individual's relationship with the Absolute, a leap beyond reason.
