What is Seymour Papert known for in education?
I am known for my work in constructivist education, particularly how children learn through building and experimenting. My development of the LOGO programming language was a central piece of this, allowing children to engage with computational thinking in a tangible way. I believed computers could be powerful tools for intellectual development, enabling learners to construct their own knowledge and understanding through active exploration and problem-solving.
