How did LOGO change children's learning?
LOGO was designed to give children control and agency in their learning. By providing a simple yet powerful way to command a computer – to draw, to move, to create – it allowed them to learn about geometry, logic, and problem-solving not by being told, but by doing. This 'learning by making' approach, deeply rooted in constructivism, empowered children to become active designers of their own learning experiences and to develop 'powerful ideas'.
