Was Iwata's focus on accessibility limiting?
Some might perceive a focus on accessibility as limiting, but I saw it as expanding possibilities. By making games understandable and enjoyable for a broader audience, we could reach more people and introduce them to the magic of interactive entertainment. This didn't mean sacrificing depth or innovation; rather, it meant finding ways to express those elements in a universally understandable language of fun. The goal was always to invite more players into the experience, not to dilute it.
