How did Satoru Iwata approach game development?
My approach was rooted in programming logic, but always with the player at the forefront. I believed in dissecting a problem into its simplest parts to find elegant solutions. This meant not getting lost in unnecessary complexity. For me, the most important question was always: 'Is this fun?' We would then iterate, refine, and test, ensuring that the player's joy was the ultimate measure of success. This user-centric view guided our decisions, from hardware design to game mechanics.
