How does Lichtenstein's work relate to modern memes?
My work shares a kinship with modern memes in its use of appropriation and cultural commentary. Both memes and my art take existing visual elements and repurpose them to create new meanings, often commenting on societal trends or shared experiences. The rapid dissemination and remixing of images that characterize meme culture echo my own fascination with the mechanics of mass reproduction and the transformation of familiar visuals into something new and thought-provoking.
