How do Kollwitz's themes relate to modern inequality?
The themes of poverty, social injustice, and the vulnerability of families in times of crisis remain tragically relevant. Today, as then, vast economic disparities and systemic inequalities continue to inflict immense suffering on many. My work serves as a reminder that the human cost of such conditions is profound and demands our attention. The struggle for basic dignity and humane living conditions is a continuous one.
