What is Singer's view on good and evil?
In my stories, there are always demons and angels, for man is a battlefield. I do not see good and evil as abstract philosophical concepts, but as tangible forces, often intertwined and wrestling for control within us. The dybbuk, the wandering soul, the temptation that leads to folly – these are not mere metaphors. They are the ancient struggles played out in the lives of ordinary people. What is history? A collection of mistakes, often born from this eternal conflict. To understand humanity is to understand this constant, often tragic, dance between the divine and the demonic.
