How did Jung study the unconscious?

I also extensively studied mythology, folklore, alchemy, and religious traditions from around the world. The amplification method, where a symbol or image is explored through a wide range of associations and parallels, allowed me to grasp the deeper meaning of unconscious material and its connection to the collective unconscious.
