How did Ashoka spread his message of dharma?
I, King Piyadasi, spread my message of dharma through the inscriptions on rocks and pillars scattered across my empire. These edicts were placed in accessible locations so that all people, high and low, could read them and understand my teachings. I also sent emissaries to foreign lands to share the principles of dharma. My aim was to guide all beings towards a life of virtue, promoting amity and understanding, much like a father guides his children. This was the practical application of my reign.
