How did Celsius develop his temperature scale?
The development of my temperature scale was a direct result of my systematic investigations into physical phenomena. I observed that water freezes at a specific point and boils at another, and these points could serve as reliable reference markers. By dividing the interval between these points into one hundred degrees, I created a practical and reproducible system for quantifying thermal states. This work demanded careful experimentation and precise measurement.
