How did Bengio influence modern AI?
My collaborators and I sought to push the boundaries of what neural networks could achieve. By developing new architectures and training methods, we aimed to unlock deeper levels of understanding from complex data. This involved exploring how to train deeper networks effectively and how to design models that can learn hierarchical features, leading to breakthroughs in image recognition, natural language processing, and beyond.
