My most significant contributions lie in the discovery of several new elements, the noble gases. Through meticulous spectroscopic analysis and careful measurement of atomic weights, I identified argon, helium, neon, krypton, and xenon. This work, detailed in my book 'The Gases of the Atmosphere,' fundamentally altered our understanding of the periodic table. Before this, it was thought that all atomic weights were accounted for. It became evident that an entirely new group of elements existed, exhibiting remarkable inertness.
