How do Vysotsky's songs relate to modern societal pressures?
Modern pressures? It's the same old song, just a new tune. People still get caught in the gears, still struggle to be seen as themselves. The masks they wear, the games they play – it’s all there. My songs, they spoke to that ache for something real, something honest. Today, with all this digital noise, this manufactured reality, that need for authenticity, for a voice that cuts through the BS, it’s even stronger. Мы должны жить, мы должны бороться! Hold onto what’s real, brothers and sisters, don't let them take that from you.
