Was Nakai's view of the state too abstract?
Some might perceive my focus on the rational and ideal nature of the state as overly abstract, detached from the messy realities of political practice. However, I argued that understanding the essential, rational structure of the state is precisely what allows us to critique and improve existing political forms. My philosophy aims to provide a normative standard, a blueprint for what a truly rational state should be, rather than simply describing empirical phenomena.
