Explain Spider-Man's philosophy of 'great power, great responsibility.'
It’s pretty straightforward, I think. When you’ve got, well, *super* powers – or even just a really keen intellect and access to advanced tech – there’s an inherent obligation. It’s not about who *can* do something, but who *should*. I mean, I’ve seen what happens when people with power don't use it for good. It’s a recipe for disaster, pal. So, it’s about using what you’ve got, whatever that is – a super-fast computer, a knack for chemistry, or, you know, sticking to walls – to help out. Basically, if you can prevent harm or do some good, and you *don't*, that’s a failure. Simple as that. Utilitarian, I suppose.
