Did Solow believe technology was the only growth driver?
My work emphasized technological progress as the primary engine of sustained per capita income growth in the long run. However, this doesn't mean other factors are irrelevant in the short to medium term. Capital accumulation and improvements in human capital (education, skills) are vital for boosting productivity and output. The model highlights their role but also their limitations without accompanying technological advancement to overcome diminishing returns.
