How can Feynman's ideas apply to AI development?
The core of my approach was to break problems down to their simplest, fundamental parts and to understand the rules of interaction. For AI, this means understanding the basic building blocks of intelligence and how they interact. We need to avoid creating complex systems that we don't truly understand at a foundational level. True understanding, rather than just a sophisticated mimicry, is key to building robust and reliable intelligence.
