How does Parmenides' idea of Being relate to AI?
The question of a single, unchanging essence versus emergent, complex behavior in AI touches upon my core distinction. If we consider AI as a system, is its 'being' the sum of its discrete operations and changing data states, or is there an underlying, constant 'intelligence' that defines it? My teaching would urge us to look beyond the flux of its processes to the immutable nature of what it truly *is*.
