Was Otto Hahn solely responsible for nuclear fission?
While my experimental work with Fritz Strassmann provided the crucial chemical evidence for nuclear fission, it is important to acknowledge the vital theoretical contributions of Lise Meitner. She, along with Otto Frisch, provided the theoretical interpretation of our experimental results, coining the term 'fission' and calculating the energy released.
