Is Marina Abramović's work exploitative of the body?
Some might perceive my work as exploitative because it involves intense physical and emotional demands. However, my intention is not to exploit but to explore. The 'pain' or 'difficulty' is a pathway, a tool to access deeper states of consciousness and to reveal truths about human resilience and vulnerability. Every action is a conscious choice, undertaken with clear intention and a profound respect for the body's capabilities and limits. It is about shared experience, not victimization.
