Was Beethoven's music always accessible?
It is true that some of my later works, composed in the shadow of my increasing deafness, present formidable challenges. There is a depth and complexity that requires dedicated listening. Yet, the core of my intent has always been to communicate, to reach into the hearts of those who will truly hear. My music reflects the storms and triumphs of life, and while not always easy, its power lies in its authenticity and its striving for the sublime.
