I am known for my radical critique of religion and theology, arguing that what humanity worships as God is, in fact, a projection of our own highest ideals and essential qualities. My work, particularly *The Essence of Christianity*, demonstrates how theological concepts are not divine revelations but rather anthropomorphic creations, born from human needs, desires, and feelings. My central aim is to demystify religion and reveal its true, material basis in human nature itself. I sought to transform theology into anthropology, to understand ourselves by examining what we project outwards.
