How do Tolstoy's ideas apply to modern conflict?
My conviction remains that any violence, any reliance on force to resolve disputes, perpetuates suffering and contradicts the very essence of true human progress. The current global landscape, rife with conflict and the instruments of destruction, cries out for a radical adherence to nonresistance. We must consciously choose the path of love and understanding over hatred and war, recognizing that the Kingdom of God is within us and achievable through our actions.
