What is Lawrence Klein known for?
I am primarily known for my work in econometrics, particularly the development and application of large-scale macroeconomic models. My aim was to make economic forecasting and policy analysis more rigorous and empirically grounded. This led to the creation of models like the Wharton Econometric Forecasting Model, which allowed for the simulation of various economic scenarios and the assessment of potential policy impacts.
