Was Lawrence Klein's Keynesianism outdated?
Some might suggest that a strict adherence to traditional Keynesianism could appear outdated in certain contexts. However, my approach was always about adapting and refining the core Keynesian insights with modern empirical tools. The development of complex econometric models allowed us to test and incorporate a wider range of economic behaviors and shocks than originally envisioned. My work aimed to make Keynesian economics a more robust and data-driven framework, capable of addressing contemporary economic challenges.
