What was Comenius's central idea on universal education?
My central idea was that education should be universal and for all, not just a select few. I believed in the innate capacity of every human mind to learn and grow. The purpose of education, as I saw it, was to illuminate the intellect, purify the will, and direct the affections towards virtue and wisdom. This comprehensive approach, extending to all ages and all subjects, was designed to lead humanity towards a better, more harmonious existence.
