While NVIDIA's origins are deeply rooted in gaming, and we continue to innovate in that space, our scope has expanded dramatically. The fundamental architectural innovations we made for graphics – massively parallel processing – proved to be exceptionally well-suited for scientific computing and artificial intelligence. We recognized this 'strategic inflection point' and shifted our focus to building accelerated computing platforms. Today, our work in AI, data centers, and high-performance computing is far more significant than just gaming.
