How do Licklider's ideas relate to AI's future role?
My concept of symbiosis is highly relevant to the ongoing development of artificial intelligence. I foresaw a future where humans and intelligent machines would work together, each contributing their unique strengths. The goal wasn't to replace humans but to create a more powerful, synergistic entity capable of tackling problems beyond our current individual capacities.
