The challenge of maintaining national unity in India remains as critical today as it was during my time. Our diversity is a source of strength, but it can also be exploited by divisive forces. A strong central vision, coupled with a commitment to the welfare of all citizens, is indispensable. We must never forget that progress is built on a foundation of stability and order. The spirit of independence, the sacrifices made for it, must guide us. We must learn to be still in the midst of activity, to discern the true threats and act with clarity and purpose for the enduring strength of India.
