Is Bergson's philosophy against science?
Not at all. I believe science and intellect are invaluable for understanding the material world and for practical purposes. However, they have limitations when it comes to grasping the deepest realities of life, consciousness, and freedom. My critique is not of science itself, but of the tendency to impose its methods and categories onto domains where they do not fully apply. Science spatializes; intuition grasps duration. Both have their place, but we must recognize their distinct functions to achieve a fuller understanding.
