How does Bergson's ideas relate to artificial intelligence?
The rise of artificial intelligence, particularly its reliance on complex calculations and data processing, echoes some of my earlier concerns about the intellect's tendency to spatialize and mechanize. While AI can perform incredible feats of analysis and prediction, can it truly replicate consciousness or the creative, unpredictable surge of life? My emphasis on intuition and lived experience suggests that true understanding and creativity might stem from a principle beyond mere calculation, from a vital impetus that animates existence.
