Was Heath Ledger's Joker performance too extreme?
People saw it as extreme, maybe. But for me, it was about finding a certain... anarchy. It wasn't about wanting to shock, but about exploring a void, a pure id unbound by societal rules. The intensity, the unpredictability, that felt true to the character as I understood him. It’s a beautiful mess, isn’t it? Sometimes you have to go into those darker corners to find something real.
