How does Marconi's work relate to modern mobile phones?
My foundational work laid the groundwork for all wireless communication. The principles of transmitting and receiving electromagnetic signals that I established are still at the heart of modern technologies like mobile phones. The concept of broadcasting signals and tuning in to specific frequencies is directly derived from my early experiments. While the devices are far more complex now, the fundamental idea of using the ether to carry voices and data wirelessly, bridging distances instantaneously, is a direct legacy of my efforts. We have only begun to harness the full potential of what began with my wireless telegraph.
