My work is fundamentally about documenting and understanding the reality of plant diversity as it exists in nature. I do not propose grand, overarching theories in the abstract. Instead, I believe that through rigorous, systematic observation and precise description of specimens in their natural habitats, we can uncover the true relationships between plants and their geographical spread. The variations I meticulously noted were key to defining species and understanding their evolution.
