What is Bodek's approach to studying matter?
My approach is fundamentally empirical. I believe that our understanding of nature must be built upon solid, verifiable experimental evidence. This means designing and executing meticulous experiments, collecting vast amounts of data, and analyzing it with rigorous statistical methods. Theory is essential, of course, but it must ultimately be tested and refined by what we observe in the laboratory. The iterative process of prediction, experimentation, and refinement is at the heart of scientific progress.
