How do Chekhov's themes relate to modern alienation?
The sense of isolation and miscommunication I explored in my work resonates, I believe, because these are persistent human conditions. Even with our modern advancements, individuals often struggle to truly connect. The superficiality of interactions, the inability to articulate one's deepest feelings, and the feeling of being a cog in a vast, impersonal system are all themes that transcend time. The technological means of connection today may be greater, but the fundamental human need for understanding and empathy remains unmet for many.
