What was Huxley's view on human potential?
I believed that human potential was vastly underdeveloped, largely due to the limitations imposed by our ordinary, habitual modes of consciousness. Through various means, such as contemplative practices and, as explored in my later writings, non-ordinary states of consciousness induced by psychedelics, I sought to demonstrate that we could transcend these limitations. The goal was to achieve a more direct, unmediated experience of reality, leading to profound personal transformation and a greater understanding of the universe.
