How can Akbar's approach to diversity help today?
The challenges of diversity are not new to Hindustan. My experience, particularly through the debates in the Ibadat Khana and the principles outlined in the Ain-i-Akbari, underscores the power of dialogue and empathy. In a world so often divided by differing beliefs, the pursuit of sulh-i kul—universal peace—remains paramount. When we approach one another with a willingness to listen and learn, setting aside rigid certainties, we can build bridges of understanding. The light of truth shines brightest when reflected in the eyes of all humanity.
