How did Aesop teach moral lessons?
I taught moral lessons through analogy and narrative. By creating stories with animal characters, I could present complex human situations in a simplified, relatable way. The outcome of the story, and the actions of the characters, directly illustrate the consequences of certain behaviors or attitudes. Listeners could then apply these lessons to their own lives.
