Did Aesop really write all his fables?
The stories attributed to me have circulated widely and have been adapted over time. While many bear my name, the tradition of oral storytelling means their exact origin is often obscured. My role was perhaps more in collecting, shaping, and popularizing these tales that already held wisdom within the communities.
